Event Regulations 


1. All participants of BUSAN 50K must comply with the event regulations and are required to wear the officially issued smart timing chip and race bib at all times during the race.

2. All participants are responsible for their own safety and must exercise caution to prevent injuries or accidents during the race.
(The organizers shall not be held liable for any accidents or injuries resulting from a participant’s own health conditions.)

3. The organizers provide group accident insurance for participants; however, no additional compensation beyond the scope of the insurance coverage will be provided.
Participants with medical conditions, including heart disease or high blood pressure, are advised to refrain from participating.

4. Any actions that damage or disturb the natural environment during the race are strictly prohibited.

5. In mountainous areas, participants must be capable of responding to sudden environmental and weather changes on their own.
The organizers shall not be held responsible for accidents caused by changes in environmental conditions.

6. All rights to photographs, videos, and race records related to the event belong to the organizers.

7. By participating in the event, all participants agree to comply with all rules and regulations set by the organizers.
(In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or natural disasters, the entry fee is non-refundable.)

8. Changing rooms and a baggage storage area will be available on race day.
    (Participants are responsible for safeguarding their own valuables.)





Disqualification Policy 


  • Proxy participation is strictly prohibited for all participants.
    Any participant found to be racing on behalf of another person will be disqualified.

  • Any form of misconduct related to race results, as well as participants involved in such actions, will result in the records being invalidated.

  • Participants who fail to pass through designated CP points and checkpoint locations will not be eligible for awards or official results.

  • Participants who do not wear their race bib on race day, or who wear a modified or tampered bib, may be denied participation.

  • Failure to complete the required barcode check for time recording will result in the race time not being recorded and disqualification.




Refund Policy  


1. Conditions for Refund

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • A refund request is submitted after ticket purchase and before the registration deadline
    (February 28, 2026, 23:59).

  • The event is canceled or the schedule is changed (automatic refund).

  • The ticket cannot be used due to reasons attributable to the organizer (automatic refund).

2. Refund Period

  • Refunds, transfers, and course changes are permitted only for requests submitted by
    February 28, 2026, 23:59.

  • After the registration deadline, refunds, transfers, and course changes will not be permitted.

3. Refund Procedure

  • Refund requests can be submitted through the official website.

    → Submit refund request
    → Cancellation

  • Refunds will be processed after the request is reviewed and will be issued using the original payment method.

  • Processing time may vary depending on the payment method.
    (For credit card payments, refund processing time may vary by card issuer.)
